Challenge Questions Answer these questions to get extra practice with the future tense. In each answer, try to use the future perfect or the future perfect progressive tense at least once. It may help to refer to a specific year in the future. For example: I think that by 2020, I will have met my future spouse. 1. If your life goes well, what will you be doing in the next few years? If things do not turn out well, what will you do instead? 2. Think of one child that you know. Based on how this child is now, what do you think he/she will be doing as an adult? Imagine the career and the family life that this person will have. 3. Imagine the world 100 years from now. What will change? What new technologies will become available? What will a person's average day be like? Extra Challenge: Using the Present, Past and Future 4. Think of one issue or controversy concerning your country. When and how did this issue begin? How does this issue affect people now? What do you think will happen in the future? |
