Steve Jobs has passed away after battling cancer for several years. He was the co-founder of Apple. From the 1970's to the present, his creative vision guided inventions that have changed people's lives, from the original Apple to the stylish Macintosh, as well as the IPod, IPad and IPhone. In business, Jobs became legendary for his unconventional choice to avoid market research. He understood, as an innovator, that his market was yet to be created--people would not know what they wanted until he showed it to them. Throughout his career, he maintained his basic tenets: to produce technology that was simple to use, satisfying and seamless in design. He pursued elegance. His high-quality aesthetic earned him the respect of his peers and competitors. Many in the technology world mourn his loss.
