Nuclear Weapons in Iran

WATCH  VIDEO

The United Nations nuclear watchdog agency is due to release a report showing that Tehran is now capable of producing nuclear weapons. According to intelligence sources, Iran has received technical assistance from foreign experts. The Israeli media has conjectured that their prime minister is working to get cabinet approval for an attack on Iranian nuclear installations. Russia's foreign minister has warned that an attack against Iran could have unpredictable results, especially causing Iran to retaliate.

The report shows that Iran continued to pursue nuclear weapons after they had seemingly stopped in response to international pressure in 2003. The nuclear research was hidden within civilian institutions. The United States, the European Union and their allies have imposed economic sanctions on Iran.
